Curriculum vitae
Following her graduation from the Maastricht University Law School in 1994, Natasja van der Meer started as a lecturer at the Moot Court. Until now this is still her main job. From 1995-1999 she was one of the co-writers of the course "Oral Pleading". This was a joint project of the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), the Dutch Open University and the Maastricht University. In 1996 she was one of the initiators and writers of the course "Civil Judicial Procedures". She also was a lecturer in this course.
In 1996 she started an education at the Police Academy in Heerlen to become a policewoman. In 1998 she graduated and since then she worked, next to her regular job, approximately 20 hours a month at the Police force as a volunteer police woman.
In June 2001 she became an assistant professor in Judicial Procedures.
In January 2004 she had to stop working for the police, because she became a deputy judge at the criminal court of Roermond. She works a couple of days a month for the court.
She has written a couple of articles concerning oral pleading:

She taughts judicial procedures, both civil - and criminal law, oral pleading and negotioation in the Moot Court.
