Curriculum Vitae
Sandor Loeffen (1979) graduated in Law and in American Studies at Radboud University Nijmegen. He also studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He joined Maastricht University's Faculty of Law in the fall of 2005 and held a five-year position as a junior researcher at the Department of Public Law. He studied at the London School of Economics (2007) and was a visiting researcher at Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C. (2009). Sandor's Ph.D. research focuses on parliamentary committees of investigation in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In November 2010, he was appointed assistant professor (universitair docent) at the Faculty of Law. He is also affilliated with the Montesquieu Institute for European parliamentary history and constitutional development.
