Curriculum Vitae
Pablo Iglesias Rodríguez is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Law and a Fellow of the Montesquieu Institute. He holds a JD with a Law and Economics specialization (2002) an M.Phil in Applied Financial Economics (2005) from the University of Vigo and a Master of Research (2006) and a PhD (2010) from the European University Institute. He is also a qualified lawyer (Madrid Bar Association).
His academic experience includes visiting research stays at the University of Cambridge, Center for Business Research (2006), University College of London, Faculty of Laws (2007), Columbia University, School of Law (EUI Fellow, 2007/2008), and Ghent University, Financial Law Institute (2008).
He was also an intern at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in France (2005) and the European Commission, DG Internal Market and Services (2007).
His areas of research, publishing and consultancy cover financial markets regulation, global governance, company law, constitutional law, administrative law, legal theory and new institutional economics. At the Montesquieu Institute he conducts research on issues related to the accountability of financial markets supervisors. He also teaches comparative constitutional law courses at the Faculty of Law and supervises LLM Thesis in the field of financial regulation.
