Curriculum Vitae
Florin Coman-Kund has been a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law of Maastricht University since 2009. Florin Coman-Kund obtained his BA degree in law from “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Romania (1995-1999). He attended and successfully completed the LL.M. programme “International and European Law” at Amsterdam University (2007-2008)
Florin’s main areas of interest cover EU institutional, administrative and external relations law, as well as the law of public international organizations and international treaty law. Florin’s research also focuses on European and global governance issues. His PhD project specifically aims to scrutinize the legal and governance issues arising from the emerging practices of the European regulatory agencies in external relations.
Florin is a scholar of the Maastricht Center of European Law and a member of the Ius Commune Research School. He is also the coordinator of the Maastricht Centre for European Law lunch seminar series.
Florin teaches classes in “Foundations of European Union Law” and “Legal Writing” at Maastricht Faculty of Law. He is also teaching “Institutional Law of the EU” at Maastricht Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
